Choose a Hotel Lobby AI alternative according to the work you need done. You might want an original duet from two reference photos, movement transferred from a video you have permission to use, or an edit of a performance you've already made. Dreamina, Higgsfield, Kling and CapCut describe different ways to get there. The label "AI video" doesn't tell you whether a mode can handle two people. Check its inputs, full cost and output conditions before paying.

We are the Video Hotel Lobby team and operate this website. This comparison uses the official video-workflow documentation linked below, reviewed on October 7, 2026. We haven't run paid tests of these services against one another. Our own real-person API is still being integrated; personalized generation and checkout are unavailable here.

Start with the material you have

Two portraits won't be enough for a tool that also needs a movement reference. You'll have to prepare that video too. If you've already filmed an original duet, you may only need an editor. Decide whether you're buying a new performance, a specific movement or the final edit before you compare plans.

RouteInputs or task in the official documentationWhat to check for your duet
DreaminaTwo separate references plus a prompt.Account access, selected model, quote and the result for your pair.
Higgsfield GenjutsuRecasting movement or changing elements of a video. Two identities in the chosen mode, and permission to use the reference footage.
Kling Motion ControlCharacter image plus movement reference.Whether the chosen approach can handle two people; the guide describes one-character control.
CapCutPolishing a generated take, or editing your own media.Whether a specific template generates new movement or only edits media.
Video Hotel LobbyTwo-character preparation and a documented original anime demo.Real-person integration; personalized generation and checkout unavailable.

The table shows what the documentation says and what's available on this site. We can't rank the tools for face preservation, speed or value for money from those descriptions. That would take actual outputs made with comparable settings and the same authorized inputs, followed by a review of the results.

Plan a still image with Nano Banana 2.1 AI

The product description for Nano Banana 2.1 AI lists a prompt-based image workspace with aspect-ratio and resolution controls. We haven't verified those features on the live site. An orange studio, original character or costume idea could be a starting point for a still image. For movement, choose a separate video tool that accepts the image you want to use.

Replacing a Higgsfield workflow

If you're replacing Higgsfield, start with the mode you meant to use. Transferring movement from footage is a different job from generating an original duet from a written brief. Another service may accept an image without giving you the movement control you wanted.

The official service is higgsfield.ai. Its Genjutsu page describes recasting movement from a video and changing selected elements. The official API overview calls this motion transfer and lists charges by duration. Those API charges are separate from the terms of a consumer subscription.

For a duet, check how the mode assigns the two people and which parts of the video it keeps fixed. We haven't confirmed a specific two-photo Hotel Lobby task in Higgsfield.

Look for a duet generated from a prompt if you don't want to prepare reference footage. For matching movement, focus on how many characters the motion-control mode supports. Once you have a performance you like, an editor can handle the remaining changes.

Dreamina describes a duet from two photos

Dreamina's Hotel Lobby filter page describes a duet made with two images, a prompt and Seedance 2.5. Trial access depends on the account. Open the current generator and check the model selected in your account, the full task cost and the export terms before relying on that description.

This route is worth checking if you want an original scene and can describe each person's role. Assign separate left and right references, choose who starts and ask for one interaction in the first attempt. You'll still need to review whether the result keeps both people recognizable; the prompt alone can't tell you that.

Before you buy, check how the uploads work and which model will run the task. We haven't tested Dreamina with the same two-person inputs across the other services. Its published instructions describe the route, but they don't establish the result you'll get or whether the mode is available in your account.

Check how many characters Kling controls

Kling's Motion Control guide describes control of one character. It doesn't establish what the mode can do with two performers.

Write down what each person needs to do in your shot. If A points and B reacts, look for an example that shows both actions. Ask which mode made the example and whether it uses comparable inputs. A demonstration of one character won't answer those questions about your duet.

You could consider generating each character separately and combining the clips, but that adds work. The framing and scale need to agree, as do lighting and timing; the actions also need to connect. That is a different method from generating two people sharing a microphone in one shot. We haven't tested the composite approach, so don't treat it as a guaranteed shortcut.

Check what the CapCut template does

CapCut's official Hotel Lobby filter page describes creating a visual outside CapCut and then editing it in CapCut. A template can set the timing, crop the clip or add effects without making a new duet from still photos. Look at the media it asks for and the action it produces before you choose it as your generator.

CapCut's help pages say template access can vary with region, app version and account. They also describe desktop and web access differently. Check the interface you can actually use rather than following a menu path assumed to work everywhere. The relevant pages are templates not appearing and template use and export.

A usable clip may only need a tighter opening, captions or a better audio balance. In that case, look at CapCut's editing tools and check whether your chosen effects and export cost extra. If the performance itself is wrong, you may need another generation; an editing effect may not fix it.

Check permissions and how uploads are handled

Compare services using the same task and material you have permission to use. Both real participants should agree to the animation and who will see it. For anime, check your right to use the character art. A commercial plan doesn't give you permission to use another person's face, artwork, movement footage or soundtrack.

Read each service's current policies before uploading. Find out whether your inputs appear in a public gallery and whether you can choose to keep them private. Check retention and deletion, then read any separate terms for the generated output. These details need checking for each service; this guide doesn't establish a shared privacy standard.

If you want the orange-studio format without copying the original performance, write your own action brief. You may then need less reference material from other people. The own-photo guide helps friends choose the cast and agree on sharing. For original illustrated characters, use the anime preparation guide.

Add up the cost of a clip you can use

A subscription fee or per-second rate won't tell you the whole cost of your video. Check the chosen model's duration and resolution, along with charges for preparation, retries and export. You may have to pay for a second attempt even when the first completed successfully but wasn't a clip you wanted to use.

Fictional cost example, not a provider quote: suppose preparing the references costs $2, each generation attempt costs $4 and the required export costs $1. Three attempts would cost $2 + (3 × $4) + $1 = $15. With one attempt, the total would be $7. These invented figures show why the price of one attempt can differ from what you spend on the result you choose.

Decide what you'll accept and how much you'll spend before another attempt. When comparing quotes, keep the settings the same. A shorter clip at lower resolution doesn't show which service is cheaper for the video you want. Check credit expiry and automatic renewals too, and find out whether failed tasks are charged or credited.

What you can do with Video Hotel Lobby today

Video Hotel Lobby is being built for both real-person photos and anime character images, with an anime route of its own. You can watch our six-second original anime demo and prepare references now. Each of the three current Seedance options is labeled Anime only. The real-person API is still being integrated. The demo shows one anime clip, so you'll still need to check the capabilities for your intended task.

Our pricing page lists one-time packs and monthly plans, but you can't check out or generate a personalized video here yet. We offer no free personalized generations or signup credits. Until a task quote is confirmed, we can't promise a price per delivered video.

  • For two photos, choose a mode that explicitly describes two identities in one shot.
  • For reference movement, check how many characters the mode supports and your permission to use the footage.
  • With a usable video, check what an editor can do before paying for another generation.
  • If you need to publish today, confirm that the service is available to you and can complete the task.

The input guide covers preparing your material, and the main tutorial walks through the full task. Before you commit, check that your chosen mode can complete it.
